IIOT World Energy Panel discussion: The role of AI in energy management

How is AI used currently in the energy sector? What is AI and what is not? Artificial Intelligence can have hundreds of functions. The most prominent use for the energy sector is applying AI to progress data for utility managers to make efficient decisions based on the inputs they get in real-time. AI helps utility managers to identify and understand consumption trends and ensure an optimum level of efficiency. Is that right that the expansion of AI within the energy industry will mean that utility managers will have the ability to see the whole market at a glance at any moment? What other benefits can AI bring and how difficult is it to implement AI solutions? What are the downsides etc? These topics were discussed during this live panel on August 12, 2021.
